I started taking the metformin regularly this weekend and man is it awful! I seriously feel like I have the flu…I can’t eat, sleep, do anything really. I know it’s for a good cause and I am really trying to do it and not cave and skip a dose. I willingly swallow this pill 2 times a day knowing how horribly sick it is going to make me! On another note, I started the Synarel yesterday so the ball is officially rolling. YAY! Pray for me!
I have responded well to the new prescription, and am scheduled (AGAIN) to start Synarel (the first step of the process) on the 19th of November! YAY, I made it into this cycle! Keep me in your thoughts!!!
OH YEAH! And on the plus side….I have officially lost….drumroll please……….40 POUNDS!!! YAY!!!! 37 more to go to my ideal “Kirstie Alley” weight!
BOO HOO! I was supposed to start synarel yesterday and would be on my way to having my baby, but NOOOO of course my body didnt want to cooperate! I was put on different pills and then HOPEFULLY we will start later in November, but if my body acts up again we will have to wait until January, ARGH! I am thoroughly ticked off at the moment, but hey what are ya gonna do??? When I find out for sure, I will definately post it!
Went to Motown today for my baseline ultrasound and bloodwork to see if I am ok to start the IVF, and I got a thumbs up! YAY! I actually already did my first injection this morning and I swear I did not feel a single thing. It’s great news! I go back Sunday and Tuesday for ultrasounds to see how I am progressing and they expect my egg collection to be Dec. 9th! WOW! I am totally psyched! Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.

I think something is already wrong. The past few days I have felt awful, and Karen (IVF coordinator) called today to see if I am any better. Well I am not…as a matter of fact I think it’s worse. She is worried that something might be wrong and if that’s the case we will have to wait until January or later. I dont know if I can go through this for that much longer as it is the meds that are making me so sick. Anyway, I have to go in tomorrow for an ultrasound and bloodwork to see if we have to put this on hold. Keep me in your thoughts….
